As a current Director I am proud to have worked on our Board for the past 7 years and would welcome the honor of being re-elected for a further term of service.
In addition to being an energetic Board Member I currently proudly serve you as the Vice-Chairman, Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee and as a Member of the Board’s Risk Committee. I am an active Board Member and take my responsibilities seriously and with passion on behalf of all Members.
I’m a Fellow of CPA Australia with formal qualifications in Accounting & Management and I also run a successful Business Advisory Practice here in the Macarthur Region.
I’m passionate about the Macarthur Region having moved here in the late 1980’s and while I proudly call it home with my amazing wife Nicole of 33 years, I also have two adult sons Aaron & Blair who both live in Macarthur too.
I would welcome Re-Election to the Board of The Mac to be able to continue to make an active contribution to the long-term success of our Credit Union for the benefit of you, our Members.
  Pania Gregson
As a long-term member, I have experienced first-hand The Mac’s ‘friendly, helpful and supportive’ service.  I believe the customer experience directly reflects the core values of a business, and it would be a pleasure to contribute to an organisation whose values align with mine.
My career spans a range of operational areas and industry sectors including customer service, finance, IT, HR, operations and management.  I have been self-employed for the past 14 years, having built an award-winning Macarthur-based pest management business from start up through to strategic sale, and, more recently, as a business consultant.
I understand the importance of cultivating meaningful, long-term customer relationships and believe that my experience across a range of service-based industries enables me to bring a professional, customer-centric perspective to the Board.
I am the Vice President-General of The Greater Narellan Business Chamber.  Other Boards and committees I have participated on include the Camden Chamber, NSW Business Chamber Regional Advisory Council, Business Event of the Year, Christmas in Narellan and the Australian Environmental Pest Manager’s Association.
I would welcome the opportunity to be involved with a Board and organisation where I can deliver value through my professional expertise, local experience and operational understanding.
  Katie Palmer GAICD, CA, B.Bus
I am a passionate and energetic Finance Executive who holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors.
Currently, I am the CFO of Nepean Mining and Transport which is part of NEPEAN a privately owned global portfolio of companies with their corporate office located in the Macarthur Area.
I am a leader, who loves to build capability, thrives on challenges, is results driven, and works extremely well in a dynamic, fast paced and ever changing environment. I have experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Reporting, Auditing, Corporate Governance and Management.
I am a proud resident of the Macarthur Region and involved in a number of community groups including being the honorary Treasurer of Camden Show.
With over 20 years experience in finance, I’m asking members to re-elect me so I am able to continue the journey I began 4 years ago. I believe my skillset is a valuable asset to the Board in this ever changing mutual sector and I would be honoured to be part of the long terms success of our Credit Union for the benefit of our members.
Karen Rushworth GAICD, CCOSO, CQSA, MIIA, MGRCI
The common resonating factor between The Mac and Karen is the prominent values they collectively share. Starting her career in Camden, the ability to benefit members and her local community of 50 years, is the principal consideration for Karen’s choice to nominate as a Board member.
With her strategic and commercial experience, Karen has supported various boards achieve the organisation’s vision, strategy and objectives. Discharge their responsibilities in financial reporting, audit, risk, compliance and corporate governance frameworks.
As a ‘trusted advisor’ for over 20 years as an Internal Auditor, Karen’s ethical and transparent manner complements The Mac’s vision. She is currently the Head of Internal Audit for the Diocese of Wollongong, which serves the Macarthur, Southern Highlands, Illawarra and Shoalhaven communities, in providing financial services, education, social services and charitable outreach.
As well as recently graduating from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she has over 30 years business experience in national senior roles, of which 20 years were in the financial services industry. With an Accounting Major, Certifications in Auditing, Quality Management Systems, Internal Control Frameworks and experience gained in several industries, Karen’s skills will add imperative value to The Mac Board.
